Chef Smith's love for food and cooking is in his blood. His apprenticeship
began at a very young age while working at his father's many restaurants.
His interest in food brought him to Santa Barbara City College
in California where he completed the culinary arts program graduating
at the top of his class. Chef Smith rounded out his culinary training
working in restaurants, numerous catering companies, and as a private
chef throughout the United States. While his roots are in classic
French technique, he specializes in many ethnic cuisines such as
Thai, Indonesian, Indian, South Western, and Cuban - to name a
few.
With over 15 years of experience, Chef Smith has had the pleasure
of cooking for many people of good taste, including New York Governor
George Pataki, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, New York Yankees
General Manager Brian Cashman, and musician and producer Quincy
Jones. He has also cooked on many film shoots and in recording
studios.
